Pirpanchal Awami Party hits out at Govt over relief distribution


POONCH: J and K Pirpanchal Awami Party has criticised the Govt. in rehabilitating flood /rain affected people in the State.
While addressing a press conference at Poonch, President of the Party Ch. Mohammad Younis Chauhan (Advocate) and Party Patron Raja Mohammad Abas Khan Advocate said that Coalition Govt. has not given any sort of help to the families whose houses have been damaged in floods. They alleged that winter season has started but the Govt. has failed to provide financial help to these families. Even tents, food material and other help is not provided to some of the families in rural areas including Khanetar, Daradullian, Saloonia, Kalai etc. The Govt. is doing disparity with the people of Pir-Panjal region whose houses have completely damaged due to landslides.
They demanded immediate release of financial help and other relief material in favour of affected families so that they could build up their houses before the start of severe winter. They also informed that the party will launch mass movement if the affected families are not helped immediately.
Others who were present in the press conference included Mohammad Shafi Khatana, Nasir Ahmed Advocate Joint Secretary, Jafreed Ahmed, Abdul Rehman, Mohammad Sadiq and Afzal Chauhan.
