PHE ITI trained, daily wagers seek regularisation

JAMMU: Aggrieved daily wagers working in the PHE Department decided to carry on their indefinite strike till their genuine demands are met. Sitting on protest, the PHE daily wagers shouted slogans in favour of their demands.
Speaking on the occasion, PHE ITI Trained and CP Workers Association Province President Tanveer Hussain said that the government had all the time been promising their regularisation but till date nothing has been done in this direction. The agitating workers were demanding to frame proper policy for their regularisation and release of their pending wages. They alleged that government has turned a deaf ear towards their plight. Other prominent leaders present were Deepak Gupta (Vice President), Subash Chander (General Secretary), Manjeet Singh, Tilak Raj, Banu Partap, Jeevan Singh, Pawan Kumar , Vijay Kumar, Arun Singh, Pardeep Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Subash Chander Sharma, Ashok Kumar, Houshyar Singh, Nissar Ahmed and Surinder Kumar.
