Peshawar massacre: educational institutions express solidarity with bereaved families

JAMMU: To express solidarity with the bereaved families of innocent school students killed in the most heinous massacre in Peshawar, Pakistan, a condolence meet was organised by Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu here on Wednesday in the premises of the school.
Additional Director/Principal Dr. (Mrs.) D. Joseph expressing her grief over the loss of precious lives. She stated that we stand, in kinship and deepest sympathies with all the parents who lost their children in terrorist attack and condemned the enormity of the barbaric attack by all means.
A prayer followed by two minutes silence observed by the students and the staff of the school.
President RCT, MK Ajatshatru Singh Pro-Vice Chairperson, Kunwrani Ritu Singh and Director DPS Jammu, S.S Sodhi also expressed solidarity and sympathy with the bereaved families.
Meanwhile, management, principal, staff and students of DPS Udhampur also mourned on the sad tragedy and strongly condemned as the most cowardly terrorist attack on a pious place like school.
Executive members of Private Schools Association Jammu condemned the terror attack of Taliban on the students in a school in which 141 innocents including 132 students, nine staff members were killed in Peshwar yesterday.
President, Private Schools Association, Kamal Gupta offered the deepest condolences for the dead and prayed to the Almighty for the speedy recovery of all injured.
State Coordinator PSA, Ajay Gupta declared this attack as an inhumane attack. He said this attack on the innocents is due to the frustration created by the international pressure on all militant organisations of the world.
An appeal was made to all the peace loving to stand collectively to give a bolt from blue to all type of violent organizations existing in this world so that coming generation can live peacefully in the entire world.
