JAMMU: Creating a performance on their vision of New Year 2015 and aspiring for Year 2015 to be secure, peaceful, pollution free and free of traffic congestions, the children attending Natrang’s Winter Theatre Workshop here envisaged a world in 2015 devoid of tragedies and human sufferings. They also prayed for the victims of Peshawar Massacre.
Around 45 children are currently exploring a new world of creativity and innovation in the Winter Theatre Workshop organised by Natrang. In an improvised performance children caricatured their experience of the year 2014 and most of the interesting scenes depicted suffering on account of traffic congestions due to political rallies, processions, VIP movements, etc. Young artists showcased that they have been the worst suffers of Jammu’s traffic chaos particularly while coming back from schools.
In every session, they prepared seven to eight new skits. Right from the script to characterisation, to direction and presentation everything was accomplished by the children.
