BHADARWAH: Members from different sections of society in Bhadarwah welcomed government decision of recognising the meritorious services of young police officer of the town, Raja Adil Hamid Ganai, and awarding him with prestigious DGP’s Commendation medal for the year 2017.
Raja Adil Hamid, son of a renowned Educationist of Chenab Valley Abdul Hamid Ganai, is a resident of Eidgah locality of Haveli Mohalla in Bhadarwah town and is presently posted as ASP Samba.
Locals at Bhadarwah while expressing their gratitude, welcomed the decision of the Home Department and termed honouring of the officer as well deserved.
“I am feeling proud and elated as Adil was one of my favorite student, who was always disciplined, well-behaved and articulate while choosing his words from the very beginning. Whenever he comes across, I still find him, grounded and down to earth, this quality of his will surely take him places in future as well,” said Ved Kumar Kotwal, a retired Teacher and President Sanatan Dharam Sabha Bhadarwah.
“Bhadarwah is known for producing meritorious officers, especially super cops and bureaucrats and officers like Raja Adil will surely take this tradition forward. Feeling proud for his achievements,” said Mohd Sharief Khan, a retired Dy SP from village Dandi of Bhadarwah.
