GANGYAL: People of Gangyal and its adjacent areas in Jammu District have complained on Thursday that majority of the hand pumps in their areas are not working properly owing to which they are facing lot of difficulties during the ongoing summer season. According to sources, the people of Sector – 4 of Gangyal are the worst hit from where the inhabitants of the area and Jhoogi walas were getting the water regularly. Due to the non working of the hand pumps, the people are making hue and cry but the department concerned is not doing anything in this regard. The inhabitants of the area have shown their strong resentment and appealed to the government for immediate redressal of their grievances at the earliest .
