SRINAGAR: Senior leader and former legislator Peerzada Mansoor Hussein has been appointed as Political Advisor to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president.
According to a party spokesperson, Mansoor will assist the president in day-to-day organisational matters and convey her directions on different subjects whenever necessary. He will also liaise with the party ministers and remain in contact with government on behalf of the party president to take up and pursue matters of public interest and grievances. The party State Secretary Jatinder Bhat has also been given the responsibility of party’s parental organizations in addition to his present responsibilities, the spokesman said.
