MENDHAR: A pedestrian received injuries after being hit by a bus and consequently slipping into river Saindh in Mendhar.
According to a report, 42 years old Rakesh Kumar, son of Sita Ram, resident of Bhambla was hit by a bus (JK02G-4166) near bridge due to which he fell into river and got injured.
The injured was rescued by the locals and shifted to Sub District Hospital from where he was further referred to GMC Hospital Jammu. Mendhar Police has seized the bus and registered a case for investigation.
