PDP is only viable alternative: Reen

STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader and candidate for Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment, Amrik Singh Reen on Saturday said that corruption and nepotism not only destroyed the economy of the State but also retarded development in a bigger way.
Lack of accountability and transparency has pushed the State into oblivion and made life of people miserable.
While conducting door to door campaign in Babliana, Nai Basti, Reen said that PDP is the only viable alternative to this anarchy prevailing in the State and can give people a stable, transparent and able administration.
Youth are disillusioned, aged and pensioners are being harassed in the name of verification and a willful campaign has been launched against honest and dedicated officers by incumbent government, he said.
Urging people to vote for PDP, Reen said that the party has already made its place in the hearts of people and now it intends to come up to their expectations after forthcoming Assembly elections.
The three years of rule of PDP from 2002 to 2005 was no doubt a ‘Golden Era’ but that time was not sufficient enough to implement all the desired and ambitious projects for the welfare of the State. Another term for PDP, he said is must to carry forward all those development projects which stand abandoned or slowed down by this government.
Reen said that PDP is committed to the fact that no region will be left behind in terms of development. He was accompanied by Deepak Handa, Nisitsh Mahajan and Varinder Singh Sonu.
Meanwhile another group led by Dupinder Kaur, Deepali Handa, Jaspreet Kaur, Sarabjeet Reen, Ekta Bakshi, Pankaj Jandyal, Abhimanyu Bakshi, Gurpreet Singh, Simarjeet and others conducted door-to-door canvassing in favour of Reen in Channi and appealed to the people to vote for the PDP candidate.
