PDP responsible for miseries of people: Mir

SRINAGAR: Lashing out at PDP-BJP Coalition for adopting wrong methods to remain in power, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (President) and INC-NC candidate G.A Mir on Tuesday said that the ruling dispensation led by PDP is responsible for deteriorating situation in the Valley affecting socio-political scenario in the State badly.
He said there seems to be no end to miseries confronting people in respect of safety, security, development, etc.
Addressing joint INC-NC meetings held in Dooru and Devsar Constituencies, Mir castigated PDP for adopting wrong methods to contain the situation arising in the Valley from time to time. “Rather than creating a congenial and friendly atmosphere, the ruling dispensation has let loose a reign of terror, aiming to quell people agitating against the wrong policies of the Government”, he said adding that PDP can go to any extent for power but the day is not far when this party will be wiped out for ensuing space to communal forces in the State.
He said PDP’s tall claims about the development and safety of the people has proved a blatant lie, people have realized that this Party which came into existence with support of RSS has betrayed them and is fully responsible for prevalent communal discord.
Describing PDP as irresponsible and opportunist, Mir said PDP can go to any extent to implement agenda of RSS in the State rather it has started working on that agenda.
Reiterating his appeal to people to vote for INC-NC candidates in the upcoming elections, Mir felt confident that people of South Kashmir and Central Kashmir will cast their votes in favour of INC-NC candidates and will ensure that communal agenda of BJP of which PDP is facilitator shall be defeated.

Ashish Dua, Hilal Ahmad Shah, Indu Pawar, Zaffraullah Khan, Shahena Nadaf and others also spoke on the occasion.
