PDP committed to mitigate sufferings of people: Nasir

KISHTWAR: Hailing the welfare imitative taken by the present coalition headed by Mehbooba Mufti, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) District President Kishtwar Sheikh Nasir Hussain on Sunday said that PDP is committed to the welfare of the common men and women of State and the Coalition Government in the State, is working tirelessly under the leadership of Mehbooba Mufti to implement its welfare agenda.
District President Kishtwar Sheikh Nasir Hussain was addressing a workers meeting at party office Kishtwar which was called by the Zonal President Arshad Hussain Giri and District General Secretary Ishtiyaq Hussain Waza.
Addressing the office bearers and party workers Sheikh Nasir said Mehbooba Mufti has reached out to people at grass roots and has not kept his government confined to the secretariat.
Party workers were also asked to hold public meetings at block and booth levels to apprise public about the policies of PDP.
Sheikh Nasir said; “PDP led government is value based and is committed to provide relief to the sufferings of masses with transparent governance and balanced development of all regions.” During the meeting several issues were raised by the party activist. Several demands were projected by the party workers which include free ration to the drought hit areas, improvement of roads, unemployement, and availability of drinking water.
