 STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Prakash Ganga on Sunday said that the PDP-BJP Government is working on various projects for the benefit of the unemployed youth and welfare of the poor and weaker sections.
“During one year, our coalition has provided corruption free and people friendly government and a new era of development has started in the State”, Ganga said and added that the people should not get misled by the false and misleading propaganda of the opposition parties and their leaders as they are in deep frustration and struggling for survival. At party office Kachi Chawni, Ganga met large number of people, including women and senior citizens, drawn from different areas of Jammu, as well as party activists and heard their grievances being faced by them concerning various departments and particularly related to supply of ration, drinking water and electricity. The minister was assisted by BJP State Secretary Sanjay Baru, Grievances Cell Chairman Brig. Anil Gupta, Jammu West District President Ayodhya Gupta, District Vice-President Prem Gupta and Mahila Morcha State General Secretary Sangita Dogra.
Ganga listened to them and in many cases, immediately rang the Deputy Commissioner and other Heads of Departments and issued on the spot instructions to do the needful so that the people are not made to suffer.
Ganga, while talking to the people, told them that as for inconvenience caused to the ration card holders, it has been made clear that no consumer will have to take rounds of DC office and that CAPD Assistant Director has to deal the public and solve whatever is being brought into his notice.
