JAMMU: State President, J and K State Samaj Sudhar Committee (JKSSSC), Mohammad Yousaf Wani on Tuesday said that the PDP-BJP Coalition Government has failed to redress the problems of the general masses.
“BJP has played with the sentiments of the General masses of Jammu region on the issue of AIIMS and cancelling the Artificial Tawi Lake project with the result the masses of Jammu have turned anti-BJP,” Wani told reporters, here on Tuesday.
Wani added that the Central leadership of BJP in order to divert the attention of the general masses of Jammu Province has been raising issues of abolition of Art 370 which is never possible.
“On the one hand the Forest Minister is committed to restore forest lands by getting structures demolished raised on it and evicting the unlawful encroaches and on the other hand nothing has been said in this regard as forest lands turned into residential colonies at Gandhi Nagar, Trikuta Nagar, Muthi, Bantalab etc,” Wani alleged.
Wani also said that a senior PDP leader has unlawfully encroached upon 300 Kanals of Forest land situated at Sunjwan, Raika, Birpur, Purmandal but the government has not initiated any action against him.
Wani demanded a thorough inquiry into the land scam by senior PDP leader.
Wani has expressed his grave concern over the deteriorating conditions of Telecommunication, structures which have been damaged by the miscreants and he has appealed the government to make a thorough probe to identify the culprits responsible for sabotaging the Telecommunication.
Others present were Raj Sharma, Mohan Choudhary, Sanju Manmotra, Shahdat Hussain, Narinderpaul Choudhary, Mushtaq Ahmed and Rupinder Singh.
