VIJAYPUR: Thakur Hari Singh-Vice President PCC expressed concern over the slow motion of relief and rehabilitation work and demanded that it should be completed expeditiously.
Speaking in a meeting of party workers at Chak-Salaria in Vijaypur Constituency Hari said that the winter season is approaching and the relief and rehabilitation of flood and border firing affected people is going on in a very slow manner and the sufferers are facing great hardships. He said that the people have suffered heavy loss of their crops, household goods, cattle etc. in floods and the border firing added more miseries to their lives. These flood affected people who are now putting in camps are not getting proper facilities.
He urged up on the government authorities that the process of relief and rehabilitation should not be delayed because of elections and it should go expeditiously, so that the affected people are rehabilitation before the winter season sets in.
He also asked the party workers to gear themselves up and the entire party cadre at the grass root level for ongoing Assembly elections in the State.
