UDHAMPUR : Minister of States for Finance and Information, Technology Pawan Kumar Gupta inaugurated the school building of Government High School Malhar, Udhampur in the presence of Chief Education Officer Bishan Singh, Headmaster Puran Chand, school staff, students, and the prominent persons of the village.
The five room double storey building was constructed at a cost of Rs 25 lakh against Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan 2011-12. Pawan Gupta in his address congratulated the villagers for fulfillment of their long pending demand.
He said that construction of school infrastructures is among the priorities of the government.
Prominent persons of the village expressed their gratitude for providing accommodation for the school where students had been facing great difficulties during inclement wheather.
