Parental Counselling held at Toddlers’ World

JAMMU: Toddlers’ World, a unit of JK Public School, Kunjwani organised a parental counseling session.
Director, Brig. Sukhdev Singh addressed the audience by giving practical examples of life and how communication was the binding force between the parents and their children.
Dr. Chand Trehan, school counsellor, took up an effective session where she exhorted the parents to focus on meaningful grooming during the foundation years of their children.
Parents were apprised of the different parenting styles like authoritarian, permissive and democratic. Need to develop healthy food habits and inculcate discipline among the tiny tots were highlighted.
The concept of ‘Sharing is Caring’ was emphasized. The session organised for the benefit of the parents and their children was very purposeful.
