Panun Kashmir flays CM for remarks on Tricolour

STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Pannun Kashmir slammed Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti for the remarks she made regarding Tri-colour and about Article 35-A of Indian Constitution saying that there would be nobody in J and K to hold the National Flag if Article 35-A is disturbed.
President of Panun Kashmir, Vijay Bhat condemned Mehbooba for such outrageous statements and said that such statements are simply separatists in nature and shows her inner feeling which is being hidden behind the lust of power.
Bhat termed the statement of Mehbooba as an unfortunate and tragic. “It is sorry state of affairs on the part of Mehbooba and PDP to issue such disastrous, deliberate and mischievous statement. She has forgotten to see how the Tricolour is respected and revered by all the people of J and K on the streets especially in Jammu and Ladakh Division on the Independence and Republic Day with love and fervor,” Bhat asserted.
Convenor of Panun Kashmir Ravinder Jalali, while addressing the meeting, said that it shows her true colours and cautioned her not to hold entire J and K to ransom and mislead the nation. He reminded Mehbooba that even if Article 370, not to talk of deleting Article 35-A is removed there would be enough people to hold the Tri-colour.
“There is no dearth of nationalists and patriots and they don’t bargain as you people are doing it. Tri-colour is not in J and K because of Mehbooba or PDP it is in the blood of all nationalists and patriots.
Jalali said that it is the habit of PDP and other Kashmir centric leaders to issue ridiculous statements to keep anti India campaign and anti India sentiment live in Kashmir as anybody who wants to be relevant in Kashmir, one has to be anti-India. The meeting was attended by Naresh Kumar, K.L Mattoo, Vijay Koul, V.K Bhat, A.K Pandita and Chand Koul.
