Panthak Morcha opposes ‘Grand alliance’ of PDP, NC, Congress

STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Panthak Morcha criticised anti-Jammu communal approach adopted by the Congress Party and other Kashmir based pseudo-secular leaders for opposing Chief Minister from Jammu region and also to opposing BJP from forming government in Jammu and Kashmir by contemplating to form so called grand alliance comprising of PDP, NC and Congress.
Talking to reporters here on Friday, Morcha leader Gurcharan Singh said, “Such leaders in fact are communal and they are trying to disrespect Jammu province people’s clear mandate given to BJP.”

This is for the first time in history that people of Jammu, irrespective of their religion, caste or creed have unitedly reposed their faith upon one national political party and have ensured to elect 25 MLA from BJP in the recently held legislative Assembly elections, he said.
Ghulam Nabi Azad has backstabbed Jammu people by raking up the issue of formation of “Grand Alliance” on the basis of region and religion just to keep BJP out of the government formation in J&K, he said reminded Azad that coming generations of people in J&K especially in Jammu Province are not going to forgive him for this.
Why should Kashmiri legislators openly spread “Communal poison” in the otherwise fertile minds of common masses, he questioned adding that how is that if the Chief Minister candidate is from Jammu province, he will be “communal” and from Kashmir “a secular”, what to talk of Ladakh.
All Kashmir-eccentric leaders of Congress party, NC, CPI (M) and so called PDF are trying to oppose non-Kashmiri Chief Minister. These communal minded leaders have forgotten that Jammu people have never raised any objection against the Chief Ministers being sworn in from Kashmir Valley only since last 70 years. And, these self-styled communal minded, always doing the politics based upon religion and region, are not able to digest Chief Minister from Jammu Province especially from Hindu community, he mentioned.
Gurcharan appealed to the political leaders in India and J&K State to stop this so called “religion/region based pseudo-secularism” which has encouraged communal/regional divide in the State and an imbalanced growth in the three regions.
