JAMMU: Residents of Pamposh Colony in Channi Rama on Wednesday expressed resentment against the apathy shown by Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) towards repairing RCC built for flood protection, which was damaged due to last year’s unprecedented rainfall.
In this regard, a resident of the Colony, Abdul Ahad Wani submitted a memorandum to NPSU to take up the issue at the concerned quarters. He said that JMC authorities have visited the spot several times and assured early repair of the same but nothing has been done on ground.
Abdul said that the residents of Pamposh Colony are concerned that flash floods can further damage their property. Mean while NPSU State President and Vice President assured the residents to highlight the issue at the concerned platform for early redressal.
