SAMBA: Wrestler Pamma from Dera Baba Nanak Punjab lifted Gho-Brahmana Kesari Dangal 2016 by defeating Rohit Pehalwan from Rohat.
The winner was honoured with cash prize of Rs 21,000 and Gurj.
The second bout was won by Kaka of Dera Baba Nanak Punjab who defeated Zakir from Sarore Jammu while the third bout between Pather from Punjab and Bhottu from Sarore Jammu ended in a draw.
The Dangal was held in the premises of Bawa Lakshaman Jatti Gho Brahmana (Ramgarh) and on the occasion Mahant Girdhari Nath from Bawa Sidh Goria Nath was Chief Guest while Sarpanchs Rampal Sharma and Kamal Sangral were Guests of Honour.
The organiser of this annual Dangal, Mela Ram told that about 80 bouts were held in which the wrestlers not only from Jammu and Kashmir but also from other states participated.
Amongst others who helped to organise this annual Dangal were Sham Lal, Dev Raj, Raj Kumar, Babbu and Darshan Lal.
