RAJOURI: Jammu and Kashmiri Pahari People Movement JKPPM) hailed the statement of chief Minister, that Govt will pursue ST status for Pahari community with all seriousness.
In a joint meeting at Rajouri, people belonging to Pahari community, thanked Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti for all possible efforts for the social and economic empowerment of the community.
JKPPM, Chief Executive Shahbaz Khan and Gen Sec Vinod Kumar also welcomed CM’s statement in which she assured that tribal plan for Pahari community would be released soon and that government would make efforts to put the development of Pahari community into focus.
Shahbaz Khan congratulated Pahari legislatures and members of State Pahari Advisory Board for projecting the demands of community strongly and efficiently, particularly MLA Nowshera MLA Poonch ,MLA Karnah, MLA Baramulla, MLC Zaffar Iqbal Manhas, MLC Shehnaz Ghanai and MLC Sayed Rafiq Hussain Shah.
