Over 100 students receive benefit of ‘Each One Teach One’ project

JAMMU: Instilling the spirit of giving is fundamental to our philosophy and a key pillar of teaching at BSF School Jammu, ‘Each One Teach One’ Project was concluded in BSF School Campus, here.
BSF School took up the project at the initiation of the Chairman BSF School Rakesh Sharma, IG BSF Jammu Frontier.
Dr S.S Khokhar, Principal BSF School took pride in shouldering the responsibility of realizing the dreams of many unprivileged students to have the benefit of basic education through this project.
He said, “It is the moment of pride that our school students have brilliantly worked to provide the fruit of education to these children who aren’t fortunate enough to go to schools. Through this project the students have achieved the aim of the project which was to empower every individual with the ability to read and write.” More than 100 students have received the benefit of this project under the guidance of Dr Khokhar and his team of teachers (Ruchi Bahl, Janesh Singh and Chander Shekhar). The project aimed at taking the learner from being completely illiterate to being able to read a newspaper and carry out his daily activities smoothly. From time to time experts were called to share with the students and the audience the experience of teaching and learning by means of which these unprivileged children can be made literate.
