JAMMU: According to Principal Government Medical College Jammu, there has been no outbreak of any disease following recent floods in the province.
The Principal has categorically denied that 200 patients with diherria and related ailments were admitted in the SMGS or GMC hospitals as reported by a section of media. Whosoever were admitted included some routine few cases of diarrhea which is a norm even before the floods struck the State, the Principal added.
The Principal has appealed the media to check with the concerned health authorities before filing of such reports.
