JAMMU: Democratic Progressive Azad Party Chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad on Monday said that the agenda of his party is to serve the people with honesty and integrity.
“People of Jammu and Kashmir have realized the need for political stability which can be ensured by the DPAP that stands for inclusive and holistic development with opportunities of progress available to all”, Azad said while welcoming over 50 workers of the Congress into the party fold.
He said joining on day to day basis reflects that people have not only understood the DPAP agenda but also endorsed it. “This endorsement will help us to serve the people in better way in the long run”, he added.
Azad said that it is the duty of all workers to hold booth level meetings in their respective areas and ensure that maximum people join the party and understand its agenda.
“All the party workers must hold public meetings and reach out to people in their respective areas in a big way”, he said.
Earlier, Ghulam Aabi Azad held a meeting with the party functionaries and workers, and also met deputations from Marh area. He exhorted them to intensify the public outreach drive and work towards strengthening the party at the grass roots level.
