JAMMU: To commemorate the accomplishment for the last three years of Organisation of Chief Labour Commissioner (CLC) (Central) under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, a meeting was organised at the LPG Bottling Plant of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Bari Brahmana.
The meeting was chaired by Sanjay Dabi, RLC (C), J and K, who highlighted the various achievements of the department and gave details of initiatives on various labour laws and policies.
Samresh Kumar, Senior Plant Manager of IOCL, Bari Brahmana briefed about various facilities/benefits being given to the contract labour at IOCL Jammu BP.
National Working Committee member BMS, Laxman Ravinder Singh spoke about the benefits and welfare measures available for contract labours and emphasised on healthy industrial relations.
Vote of thanks was presented by Joginder Paul, Secretary PWU Jammu BP.
Jaspal Singh, LEO Jammu, Harbans Chaudhary State Vice President (J and K), representative from HPC, Jammu, members of Petroleum Workers Union of local unit along with contract labours of IOCL, Jammu Plant were present.
