JAMMU: An oral hygiene and dental care camp was organised by Little Millennium, a premier Preschool chain promoted by Educomp Childcare, at its Roopnagar centre in which Dental Surgeon and Oral Hygiene Specialist Dr Akshay Sharma sensitised the little angels about the importance of oral hygiene in prevention of various communicable diseases and maintenance of healthy teeth.
A special assembly was conducted by the Chief Learning Officer, Little Millennium Jammu, Akhila Magotra in which the visiting specialist taught the little angels various benefits of brushing the teeth and healthy eating habits.
Dr Akshay Sharma checked the teeth of children and encouraged them by rewards for maintaining good dental health.
Insha Ahmed Learning officer explained that such checkups and health camps were a regular feature in the school curriculum to aid in good physical and disease free development of the children.
