JAMMU: The Business School, University of Jammu (JU) started one week online induction programme for its 35th Batch of MBA, on Monday.
Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu, Prof. Manoj. K. Dhar, was Chief Guest on the occasion, Dean Academics Affair, University of Jammu, Prof. Naresh Padha, presided over the function; and Rakesh Shalla, a well known Corporate consultant was the keynote speaker.
Prof. Sameer Gupta, Director, The Business School, welcomed the students and the guests and apprised them about the Induction programme.
Prof. Manoj Dhar impressed that during these two years of MBA Programme, the students should make maximum use of opportunities and facilities available at university.
Prof. Naresh Padha welcomed the students and exhorted the students to be sincere in their studies and be dedicated for their future career.
Rakesh Shalla, keynote speaker for the inaugural session, addressed the students about the importance of self-learning, discipline and gave corporate insights to the students through question-answer interactive sessions.
The week long induction programme shall include industry experts, leading academicians and successful entrepreneurs.
The programme shall have two sessions daily consisting of one morning session and one afternoon session.
During the induction programme, students shall be introduced to the various central facilities available with the university including Department of Student welfare, Campus culture, Department of Physical Education, central library and hostels.
At the end, Prof. Sameer Gupta, Director, The Business School University of Jammu gave concluding remarks of the event and presented a formal vote of thanks.
