Dear Editor,
Voting for the IV phase is going to take place on 14th of Dec. 2014 and manifestoes of Congress, NC and PDP are only to befool the public. Congress manifesto is nothing but a replica with special opposition of the NC, the leading coalition partners. Both parties completed the six years tenure of governance and still in Govt. and none of the public issue was solved. Manifesto of none of the political party could get even a mention in their manifesto. Prof. Soz and Azad Omar Abdullah and Mufti Mohd Sayeed have adopted anti-people and treacherous policies only to rule the State with no public interests. Development plank without social justice is meaningless, senseless and baseless. Those who deserved and in whose favour the Apex Court’s judgment of 1992 on Mandal Report gave 27 per cent reservation, they did not obey the Apex Court’s order. Congress; NC and PDP talk much about the Art. 370. They must first introspect into themselves whether these Pol. parties made use of Art 370 for the benefits of the state subjects for whom the special status is meant for or they mis-used it for their dynastic rule.
Manifestoes side-lining the majority population of the State called OBCs are nothing but a mutual understanding of these political parties to loot the due rights of the poor people as had been done since 1947 in general and since 1992 in particular after Apex Court’s judgment on Mandal Report.
In view of the manifestoes of NC, Congress and PDP and attitude of these political. parties, State OBCs have released only one point manifesto to uproot the Congress; National Conference and PDP in the State who have looted the due share of the OBCs in particular and marred the rights of the State people in general.
Others who shared their views in a meeting under the Chairmanshp of its President Abdul Majid Malik were: Sandokh Chand, Bodh Raj Dogra, Sardar Rajinder Singh, Abdul Rashid Malik, Shakeel Ahmed, Mushtaq Ahmed, Mohd Hussain, Master Sain Dass, Puran Charogtra, Prof. Kali Dass and many others.
