SRINAGAR: One person died while three others were injured in different road accidents in the valley.
In Kulgam, Abdul Hamid Bhat, resident of Okay, Kulgam received injuries when the scooter he was riding slipped near Larnoo. Ghulam Mohammad Bhat who was riding pillion also received injuries.
Both were shifted to District Hospital Kulgam, wherefrom they were shifted to Srinagar Hospital for further treatment where Ghulam Mohammad Bhat succumbed to his injuries.
After completion of legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
In Kupwara, a taxi bearing registration number JK09-4851 hit and injured a pedestrian Lateef Ahmad Ganie, resident of Khanpeth Sumbal at Payarpora Hyhama.
The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Kupwara for treatment, wherefrom he was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for further treatment.
In Awantipora, a Santro car bearing registration number JK03C-4974 driven by Mudasir Ahmad Wani resident of Zewan hit and injured a pedestrian girl namely Nelofar Jan resident of Chandhara at Barsoo.
The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Pampore for treatment.
Police have registered the cases in this regard.
