RAJOURI: Police on Tuesday arrested a person and recovered 95 cans of beer from his possession.
According to a report, acting a specific information SI Mohd Kabir along with party of Police Post Chingus under the supervision of SHO Police Station Rajouri Inspr. Yash Paul Singh laid a Naka at Gala Chatyar Chingus. During the Naka duty, police intercepted a van without registration number and recovered 95 cans of Kingfisher beer containing 500 ml each from the possession.
Police seized the van and arrested the driver namely Bitu Kumar son of Sita Ram resident of Agrati. A case under FIR No. 305 /2015 section 48 (a)Exice Act has been registered and investigation is going on.
