KATRA: Police on Wednesday arrested a bootlegger and recovered 45 pouches of liquor from his possession.
According to a report, a team of police personnel headed by Dr. Ashok Sharma, SDPO Katra along with Inspector Kuldeep Krishan, SHO Police Station Katra under the supervision Sumir Kotwal, Addl. SP Katra and overall supervision of Sujit Kumar, SSP Reasi apprehended one person namely Kiran Kumar son of Indru resident of Matyal Tehsil Katra District Reasi at Matyal Katra and recovered 45 poly pouches of liquor J and K Excise from his possession.
A case under FIR No.97/2015 section 48-A Excise Act and 188/RPC was registered at Police Station Katra and investigation is in progress.
