DODA: Police on Saturday arrested a narco peddler and recovered 500 grams heroin from his possession.
According to a report, a Police Party from Police Station Doda was deputed for routine Naka checking/patrolling in the general area of Bidwan Parvati Dhara and during Naka, one person namely Zakir Hussain son of Gh. Mohd Lone resident of Tantna Tehsil Doda, who was on his way towards Doda city was intercepted. During his personal checking, police recovered 550 grams heroin from his possession. A case vide FIR No. 37/2016 under section 8/21 NDPS Act was registered in Police Station Doda and the accused person has been taken into custody.
The whole operation was carried out by SHO Police Station Doda, Inspector Udhay Shanker under close supervision of DySP Hqrs. Doda and overall supervision of Z.N Manhas, SSP Doda.
