KATHUA: Police on Saturday arrested narcotic smuggler and recovered 4.1 grams heroin from his possession.
According to a report, in the intervening night of 8th -9th July 2016, a police party of Police Post Nagri arrested Lakhwinder Singh alias Preet son of Surinder Singh resident of Ward No. 14 Kathua. He was apprehended at Naka laid at Taryada Road in Nagri area when he was riding a motorcycle bearing registration No. JK08E-2461. Police recovered 4.1 gms of heroin from his possession during his search and accordingly case vide FIR No. 286/2016 under section 8/21/22/NDPS was registered at Police Station Kathua.
