AKHNOOR: Police on Thursday arrested a bootlegger and recovered 39 pouches of liquor from his possession.
According to a report, during the Naka checking at Fawara Chowk Akhnoor, police seized 39 pouches of Desi Whisky (Frooties) from the possession of one Jeet Raj son of Kartar Chand resident of Kohdey Wala Camp Sohal. The arrest was made by Inspector Pushpinder Singh along with police party under the supervision of Rajeev Pandey, Addl SP Rural and under the overall supervision of SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
