KATRA: Police on Saturday arrested a bootlegger and recovered 128 pouches of liquor from his possession.
According to a report, a police team headed by Sub Inspector Maninder Singh, In-Charge Police Post Kakryal acting on a specific input, laid a special Naka near Jhajjar Nallah on Manthal Road and during checking/frisking, recovered 128 pouches of J and K Excise liquor from the possession of Jameer Singh son of Kiker Singh resident of Sawlakote Tehsil Arnas District Reasi who was on way towards Katra from Manthal side. The accused person was arrested and a case vide FIR No. 179/2016 under section 48-A Act stands registered at Police Station Katra.
