SRINAGAR: One person was killed and another injured in an avalanche at Hassangam-Malangam sector of Tulail, Bandipora district on Wednesday evening.
A police spokesperson informed that two persons identified as Abdul Aziz Beigh, 25, , son of Ghulam Mohammad Beigh and Haleem Beigh, 23, son of Sheer Beigh, both residents of Malangam got injured in the avalanche.
“Both the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Tulail for treatment where Abdul Aziz Beigh succumbed to his injuries,” he said.
