POUNI: Police on Monday arrested a bootlegger and recovered 43 pouches of liquor from his possession.
According to a report, acting on a specific information, a police team headed by Inspector J.J Bhagat, SHO Police Station Pouni during patrolling duty at village Bharakh area recovered 43 pouches of J and K Excise Liquor from the possession of accused person Kewal Krishan son of Des Raj resident of Kantha Tehsil Sunderbani district Rajouri. The accused person has been arrested and a case vide FIR No. 31/2016 under section 48-A Excise Act, was registered at Police Station Pouni.
