KATRA: Police on Thursday arrested a bootlegger and recovered 40 pouches of liquor from his possession.
According to a report, acting on a specific input, a police team headed by Inspector Sanjeev Sharma, SHO Police Station Katra laid a Naka at Matyal near petrol pump and during checking police recovered 40 pouches of J and K Excise Liquor from the possession of Dharm Paul son of Bishan Dass resident of Dayala Chack Tehsil Hiranagar District Kathua. The accused person was arrested and a case vide FIR No. 106/2016 under section 48-A Excise Act,
