KATRA: Police on Sunday arrested a bootlegger and recovered 30 pouches of liquor from his possession.
According to a report, a police party led by Inspector Sanjeev Sharma, SHO Police Station Katra acting on a specific information laid a Naka at Serli Katra. During checking/frisking, apprehended one person namely Joginder Kumar son of Kaka Ram resident of Bhagtha Tehsil Katra and recovered 30 pouches of J and K Excise liquor from his possession.
A case vide FIR No.105/2016 under section 48-A Excise Act, 188/RPC was registered at Police Station Katra against the accused person.
