KATRA: Police on Wednesday arrested a person and recovered 100 pouches of liquor from his possession.
According to a report, a police party led by Inspector Kuldeep Krishan, SHO Police Station Katra along with In-Charge PCP Nomain, laid a Naka at Nomain Katra. During checking, police intercepted one car (JK02BA-5911) on its way towards Katra via link road Nomain and recovered 100 poly pouches of J&K Excise Liquor from the possession of Raj Kumar son of Bishambar Dass resident of Ward No.7 Samba Tehsil and District Samba. The accused has been arrested and vehicle was also been seized. A case under FIR No.10/2016 section 48-A Excise Act, 188/RPC weas registered at Police Station Katra against the accused person.
