VIJAYPUR: An old woman identified as Giano Devi (95) wife of Baru Ram resident of Soankha Morh was hit on Thursday by an over speeding Bolero while crossing road at Soankha Morh on Jammu – Pathankot National Highway.
The woman was immediately shifted to Vijaypur Hospital but due to her critical condition, she was evacuated to GMC Jammu where she succumbed to injuries. Her body was handed over to her relatives after completing the legal formalities. The Vijaypur Police have seized the Bolero bearing registration No JK02BJ-7931 and arrested its driver namely Sanjeet Kumar son of Madan Lal resident of Ghou Manahasan, Jammu for investigation.
