NSUI takes out ‘Lalkaar’ rally against JKSSB

JAMMU: Continuing its protest, National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) took out ‘Lalkaar’ rally against Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) and State Government demanding cancellation of SSB exam held on 25th of December.
They also demanded issuing of roll number slips to the aspirants fifteen days earlier, examination centers at district level and different examinations for divisional and State level.
The rally, led by Fairoz Khan, National Secretary of NSUI and Neeraj Kundan, State President of NSUI, was taken out from Dhanvantri Library to main gate of the university. The rally was organised by Ajay Kumar, National Delegate of NSUI.
Addressing the participants, Fairoz Khan, National Secretary of NSUI said that the committee which is framed by government has done nothing till date.
He also added that the youth of the State and aspirants appearing through the agency of JKSSB for various government jobs have lost the faith in mufti led PDP-BJP Government and its important bodies like JKSSB and thus it demands further enquiry into the matter by CBI.
Neeraj Kundan, State President NSUI, said that the chairman of the board has become incompetent and it is his fault and demanded his resignation.
He thanked all the other organisations and civil society which has been supporting this cause an issue of youth and career of 90,000 youth is at stake and requested civil society to raise their voice against failed government.
Ajay Kumar, National Delegate of NSUI said that NSUI will start the signature campaign in support of their demands. He also added that if their demands are not accepted, NSUI will take further coercive measures so that the government and JKSSB fulfill their demands.
Others present in the rally were Nasir MAM College President, Aftab Keen NSUI leader, Rupali Chada, Shireya Sharma, Kanvika Sambyal, Imran Akram, Sachin Sharma, Ajay Singh Thakur, Imran Katoch and Abhisekh Kotwal.
