POONCH: Showing strong resentment towards the dismal condition of Govt. Polytechnic College Poonch, NSUI District Poonch Committee held a protest outside College on Thursday.
The protest was led by Naresh Digra, District Coordinator NSUI Poonch lambasting the present condition of College.
Digra said that the condition of Govt. Polytechnic College Poonch is dismal as regular class work is not going on properly. Out of five classes only two are being held, he added. He further said that students are suffering on account of irregular class work and examinations are fast approaching.
Speaking over the issue, Principal of the college informed that dearth of faculty is hampering the class work. He said that there are only five lecturers working in the college whereas the requirement is of 20.
Israr Manhas, Pardeep Singh, Rahul Jangral, Deepak Sharma and Kunal Angurana were present.
