NSUI demands promotion of students whose answer scripts lost in flood

JAMMU: Demanding the continuation of polytechnic students whose answer scripts were lost due to floods, the NSUI on Saturday held a protest outside the office of Secretary, J and K State Board of Technical Education, Jammu. NSUI has been protesting for this cause for the last four days and also submitted a memorandum to the concerned official.
State President of NSUI, Neeraj Kundan said that NSUI has been protesting for last four days and also submitted the memorandum for which the board agreed and promised to promote the students whose answer scripts were lost in the flood, but very unfortunate now the board is not fulfilling its promise as agreed by it earlier.
NSUI activists also alleged that the colleges have already deducted the admission fee but they were not allowed admission. The answer script of the students were lost in flood but absent was marked in the result sheet of the said students. Others who were present on the protest demonstration included Avijyot Singh, State general Secretary, Sunny Parihar, District president Jammu, Narendra Bhargav, College President NSUI, Naresh Digra and many others.
