NSS workshop on clean-green campus concludes


RAMNAGAR: A three-days NSS workshop on ‘Green and Clean Campus’ at Govt. Degree College, Ramnagar concluded here on Thursday.
The NSS workshop was inaugurated in the college in which large number of NSS volunteers participated enthusiastically .Principal of the College Prof Kusam Gupta acted as Chief Gust.
Prof Kewal Kumar as NSS Officer , Anil Atri DFO Ramnagar and SDPO Ramnagar delivered the awareness lectures on environment ,trees and on the importance of Van Mohtsav . Tree plantation drive was organised in which large number of plants were planted inside the college campus
The workshop concluded with a cleanliness drive in the college campus and a symposium. The topic of the symposium was ‘Environment issues and role of plants’. Students of the college Pallavi Gupta, Shagun Gupta, Sukanya Gupta, Anisha Gupta, Meenakshi ,Hans Raj and others spoke on the topic . Pallavi Gupta scored first rank in the competition.
Prerna Samyal lecturer Environmental Sciences delivered a lecture on this occasion and discussed various environmental issues
