JAMMU: Komal Sharma, NSS volunteer of Government College for Women (GCW), Gandhi Nagar visited China along with the group of 200 members from across the country.
The programme was sponsored by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, under Youth Exchange Programme (YEP) between India and China from 17th to 24th June, 2016. During her visit, she visited Beijing, Chengdu, Guilin and Guangzhou and interacted with the youth of China. The programme helped youth of both the countries to learn about the culture, tradition, etc. “YEP provided a great chance to volunteers for learning about cultural diversity of China through exchange of ideas and exposure,” she said.
