DODA: New Star Cricket Club (NSCC) Doda registers win over Zargar Cricket Club (ZCC) Kastigarh by 19 runs in the ongoing All India Eleventh Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2015 played at Sports Stadium Doda.
The tournament is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by Rashtriya Rifles Bn Doda, J&K Bank and Natnoo Furnishing House Doda.
Batting first, NSCC Doda was bowled out for 117 runs in 15 overs. Mehran Ganai was the highest scorer with 39 runs while Riyaz contributed 26 runs. For ZCC, Irshad clinched three wickets while Rashid and Faiz shared two each.
In reply, after getting good start, the batsman of ZCC failed to chase down the target and managed to score only 98 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 15 overs. Irshad and Khalid scored 34 and 16 runs respectively. For NSCC Doda, Mehran Ganai took two wicket while Sadam, Izhar and Aamir shared one each.
Mehran Ganai of NSCC Doda was declared as Man of the Match for his best all round performance.
The match was officiated by Munish Jotshi, Ayush Sharma as Umpires whereas Salinder Singh Bhaduria acted as Scorer.
