JAMMU: National Panthers Student Union (NPSU) today held a protest in the front of main gate of University of Jammu against the double speak and cowardly surrender of AIIMS to Kashmir by the BJP leadership.
The protestors who gathered in large number in front of the University gate raised anti BJP slogans and burnt the effigies of Dy Chief Minister for his double speak on the issue of AIIMS.
Addressing the media, Thakur Virender Singh, State President NPSU reiterated that the ongoing double speak of Deputy CM regarding the establishment of AIIMS is disastrous for the whole region.
“On the hand he endorsed that AIIMS should be established in Kashmir and on the other hand after viewing a lot of public outrage Deputy CM is making statements just to make public fool that within small time AIIMS should be established at Jammu,” he mentioned.
NPSU warned BJP that it should desist themselves from such statements and should resolve AIIMS issue and fulfill the aspirations of people of this region for which they were given massive mandate.
Kailash Mohan, Asha Rani, Chanda, Davinder, Shubam Jasrotia, Rishi Badyal, Sourav Singh, Sumit Singh and Jatinder Sharma were also present.
