NPSU Gheraos Dean Education JU, demands resumption of B.Ed re-evaluation

JAMMU: Infuriated by the closure of B.Ed re-evaluation being directed by the Jammu University authorities from the current session, National Panthers Students Union (NPSU) on Friday Gheraoed the Dean Education JU and vociferously protested for an early resumption of the process in the interest of the student fraternity.
Th. Virender Singh, State President NPSU, said that the serious resentment was brewing among the students by the obnoxious decision taken by the university authorities. He said that earlier several student deputations had submitted the respective representations to the Dean Education and the Controller Examinations separately but no action was taken so far.
He said that the barring of re-evaluation process had put the career of the students at stake who were aggrieved with panic.
Virender cautioned the university authorities to issue a notification to resume the process of B.Ed re-evaluation with in a week’s time or else NPSU shall be forced to take a full fledge agitation on the streets for the welfare of the students.
Among those who led the protest included Lovely Singh, Shubam Jasrotia, Rishi Badyal, Sumit Jamwal, Asha Rani, Bhupinder Singh, Sudesh Badyal, Ruksar Malik, Rishikesh Bhardwaj and Deepak Sharma.
