NPSU demands removal of chairman JKSSB

JAMMU: Taking a dig on the brazen bungling being done by the recruitment agencies of the State, NPSU lambasted the SSB for showing casual approach on taking an appropriate action against the malpractices done in the recent exams pertaining to excise inspectors which were held on 25th December 2016.
NPSU President Thakur Virender Singh, while addressing the media, that the committee framed by the SSB to innate probe into the matter is merely an eye wash and vociferously demanded the cancellation of the aforesaid examination. He exhorted the authorities to re-conduct the examination in the interest of the youth who have been facing the wrath of soaring unemployment in the State. Virender condemned mass copying surfaced recently in JKSSB examination and demanded proper enquiry in the matter. Thakur said that even after the cases of mass copying appeared in the news, the JKSSB authority failed to take concrete steps resulting into the mockery of the system. He demanded that the graduate level examination should be cancelled and re-examination should be conducted for such posts. Not only mass copying, total lack of coordination also marred the examination, he added.
Singh said that for the conduct of smooth and fair examination every district headquarters should have a separate examination centers which would curb the chances of non-bungling during the examination.
Virender also demanded the removal of the chairman for his utter in competence to initiate enquiry against the recent malpractices done in the various examination centers.
Thakur said that NPSU shall resort to massive agitation if the exams are not conducted in the fair manner. Others who were present in the press conference included Shubam Jasrtia, Shubam Jamwal, Sumit Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Shubam Chib, Rishi Badyal and Sourav Charak.
